| Hi Everyone, Have not been looking at the Family Web Site for a little while now. I've been in Joplin, MO. with my sister, Judie. We had a great time and the weather was everything from almost 80 all the way down to 19!!! It snowed, but didn't stick the night of April 5th. There was some light snow Friday too, but it was almost so light that you had to look at a dark spot to see if it was actually snowing! Everyone was saying we'd have snow for Easter. Judie's daughter, Dianna, is expecting her first baby May 17. They do not know the sex of the baby, only that it's healthy and strong! Frank and Dianna want the sex to be a surprise. I always wanted a surprise too! Judie and I had a baby shower and that turned out well. I wanted to take pictures, but being the very smart and organized person I am --- I took the camera, but IT DIDN'T HAVE THE BATTERY IN IT!!!!!! shhhhhh --- don't tell anyone about my 'senior moment'. ;) The church Judie and Jim attend put on a Passion Play. Frank, Dianna and I went to see it, the night it snowed. It was fantastic! After that we went to Applebees and had dinner. Easter Sunday, Frank & Dianna, Matt & Jaime, Jim's Mom and Dianna's friend from school, Teresa came for dinner. It was super of course, and we all ate too much, of course!! There is a quilt show this weekend in Joplin, and I'm kind of disappointed that I can't go. I was there to help set up so I got to see all the quilts and other goodies. Also I got some pictures of some of the quilt's. Judie put 6 quilts in. One is 100" X 110" and let me tell ya, that is one huge quilt!! I took pictures with my Cingular phone and I will send them later on. Love, Susie |
