Busy Times

May 15, 2007

I'd like to say that things are finally settling down, but they're not and I don't know when they will.

We had the Pastor, his wife and mother-in-law and another couple over for dinner and the "World Premiere" of the church construction DVD on Sunday the 22nd. The DVD was a big hit.

Left for Milwaukee on April 23rd. and for Mt. Pleasant SC. on the 24th. Shrine Director's Convention was a good time with 3 days of golf and a lot of good food ( a couple of cocktails in there too). For a video of some of the events click on this link for SDA 2007.

On Sunday the 29th. I was off to Savannah to visit Nancy and Frank. It was a short but nice visit. Frank and I went golfing on Monday and I left for Milwaukee on Tuesday. They are both doing well and have a beautiful house on one of the 6 golf courses in the gated community. I have attached a few pictures.

Got back to Milwaukee on Wednesday and had to be at the Shrine on Thursday morning to unload onions for the vadalia onion fundraiser. Thursday afternoon I had to be at the eye doctor for measurement's of my eyes for the lenses that will be implanted at the surgery. All day Friday and until noon on Saturday I was at one of the sites selling onions and salad dressing.

At noon on Saturday I had to leave for home so that I would be back in time for the "Members Dinner" at the golf club that we belong to.

Sunday, May 6th, we had the dedication of the church addition with a dinner and a viewing of the DVD. That went over very well. Even got my name in th Iron Mountain Daily News in the article about the dedication. They want to sell copies of the DVD for $15 with 10 going to me for making the copies and 5 going to the church.
