| We got our keys to our new home July 3rd! We are so excited. And relieved. We were beginning to think the day would never come! It's an 1800 sq. ft. modular home in a park. It has 3 bedrooms- the boys are sharing- two full bath, dual sided fireplace, island kitchen, huge utility room, really cute back yard. The main part of the house is painted close to what we already had, so I'll only need to paint Ally's room, the boys room, our room, the kitchen, and the utility room. Only. There are vaulted ceilings and with the lay out it is very spacious. As far as living in a park goes that's a little weird for both of us but at the same time it's nothing like what we are used to seeing down south. Everyone has a modular home- not trailer- and they are all different. Everyone has a front yard, landscaped. The streets curve and some houses are set at an angle.... It's really pretty. We are in Templeton now. It's in between Atascadero and Paso Robles- 5 minutes to each town. It's a really tiny town. One sign says 3,200 people and another says 7,000. Either way- small. It will save Chris a good 20 minutes on his drive to work. He only has this Friday off so he and a couple of guys from work are going to load up the truck and get it all moved in on Friday. I couldn't wait of course so I've been taking over boxes and I think I have our whole kitchen unpacked. I will send pictures when we get our computer all set up. I'll be able to check my email on this computer the rest of this week and on Sunday the guy is coming to set up cable and internet. We'll be changing our cell phone numbers to our new area code as well. I'm not sure when we are getting a home phone. I haven't even called about that yet. Oh and Ian is walking now! We went down about 2 weeks ago and stayed with my Grandma. It was at her house he just started to walk everywhere. It's so fun to watch him, especially when he's in a hurry.
