On Tuesday, at The Four Seasons Resort, the great Michigan vs. Wisconsin golf challenge took place. After a hard fought battle for 18 holes, with a break after 9 for lunch, of course, The Mighty Michigan Ladies eked out a one hole victory over the Wisconsin Wonder Women. A good time was had by all and the rematch next year should prove to be equally exciting. The victorious Michigan team was Barb Schmit, Jan Waters, Karen Boerger and Karen Salzwedel. The powerful Wisconsin team was Mary Lou Engelland, Rita Mathu, Marcie Crandall and Linda Schlicke. I have attached a few pictures from this memorible sporting event. |
