I've been sitting here laughing because of a stupid mistake I made. I laid my laundry on the laundry room floor because Joni said she would start it because her new washer is so different. After we came back from our shopping and hair appointments, Joni put the laundry in the washer. Lucy is always locked in the laundry room and dumb me, I guess I didn't think about Lucy liking buttons. Joni and I were just getting my clothes out of the dryer and when I went to button my one shirt, two buttons were missing. Joni found one of them but not the other. It was the week before I came to Doug's that Sandy pulled all my dirty laundry out of my basket before I could get it to the house and chewed a big hole in a brand new tank top I had only worn once and chewed holes in two pair of my panties. These animals have it in for me....... Thank goodness I can laugh at it because it really is funny. Doug said "I told you Lucy likes buttons"....... Doug said that while they lived in Atlanta, he had a number of missing buttons until they got wise that dirity laundry can't be left out of the washer. I'm cooking dinner tonight - my chicken casserole dinner that Joni likes so much. |
