Yesterday Daryl and I thought he would put a border around the new
patio of the 12" squares (left over from before) but after getting the chair set
put together, he is going to go get 5 more of the pink blocks. This set is
bigger than it looked at the store and takes up more room than we had thought.
I don't know if he'll still put a border around it or not once he gets the
additional pink blocks. Once he put the set over there, the patio looks tiny
even though it is much larger than I had before. I figured if you were looking at the web cam that you might wonder what we are doing. I actually helped Daryl put all the slats on the set this morning. What a job and as Daryl said, it would have been worth the $25 the store wanted to put this set together as it was a job and a half.
Here is our finished project except for an umbrella but that will
come in time. Daryl decided to put the 12" blocks at the front row but, as you
can see, the set barely fit on the blocks. I don't care as long as someone
doesn't make it move off the blocks because I like the angle of it the way it
is. For the additional 4" the pink blocks would have provided, it didn't hardly
make sense buying more of them.
My BBQ is sitting against the house which you
can see in the picture because Daryl uses the one Jan had. Daryl is out cutting
the grass now and even though it wasn't supposed to rain today, it looks as if
it could right away. |
