| This past weekend the Red Bull X Fighters teamed up with Priefert Mfg. to make their first US appearance this year. In case you don’t follow the X Games, the Red Bull X Fighters are the guys that do back flips and other extreme stunts on motorcycles. Each show they do is in a different country and is a different theme. Since they were in Texas they did a “rodeo” theme. Each rider made his appearance into the arena (provided by Priefert) out of a Priefert bucking chute. At the end of each ride the riders then rode to the top of a catwalk, also built by Priefert, to watch his ride on the big screen. Priefert’s “Texas Thunder” Draft Horse Hitch also made an appearance in the grand entry and then again to carry the winners around the arena for a victory lap. The event will be televised this Sunday, June 22, at 2:30pm on ABC. Priefert should receive a lot of national exposure from the event. We were also given a 30 second commercial spot so we will debut one of our newest finance commercials this Sunday on ABC. Several of us were at the event and I can tell you it should make for some good TV. This was the largest set they have ever built and there were some extreme tricks performed.
