Korea

I'm here in Korea, still in-processing my new unit for the second week. It is my first deployment to Korea, but compared to all of the other NCO's over here, I have a lot more knowledge in my job than most of the guys over here. Not to mention my tactical experience is more than most too. I guess that I'm not used to not having an endless amount of resources at my disposal. Over here it's a little scarce. They already want me to stay here longer, but I know that Heidi has already nipped that in the bud.

I have been writing Heidi back and forth, plus doing the web cam and voice chat across Yahoo. This unit is definitely different from what I'm use to. I have seen a lot things here that make me cringe. People are getting into trouble all the time. You have to baby sit these grown adults and sometimes people that are older than you too!

I can't complain too much because I can sit here and watch the helo's take off and land all day long. It takes me back to jumping back in Tampa.
