| Ike came and went, gas prices soared and all that really happened was a bit of rain and some wind last night. Gustov gave us two solid days of nothing but rain, rain and more rain. We did get a little bit of rain this time, but mostly we got wind. I refuse to buy gas because of the prices currently. Raising prices is so stupid, all the companies are doing is padding their pockets. OK, enough belly achin. We have a lot of yard work to do now with the wind. Lots of leaves have fallen and this year my Oak trees are making acorns. That means it's time to cut them down!! Oak trees have to be 50 years old before they begin making acorns. Next thing ya know, I'll have a bajillion baby oaks growing!! Anyone want some baby Oak trees? |
