Frost

We have frost out there this morning and the thermometer says 32 degrees right on. Safe frost date is about Oct 8th, so were about 3 weeks early. Have no idea yet, if it got to my garden, as it's up on the hill. My front grass and all the back meadow is light white. Kearney airport is reporting 37degrees. Suppose to get to the upper 70's today and for the next several days and mid 40's for lows.

Had a fine visit with friends from church, Dave and Christie last evening. They thought bbq whole deer leg and dove poppers were just fine. He was also impressed with the keg in the garage full of Fat Tire.

It looks like I just might be working in the garden today and tomorrow. If it frosted up there, then taking out zucs, cucs, tomatoes, green peppers and green beans will be the order of the day. Have a town run this afternoon for a grocery list and who knows what else?

Craig and Tammy will be here this evening for dinner. Mom is fixing Mexican stuff. They live about 7 miles East of us towards town. Tammy is due Feb 1st and finds out next week with an ultrasound what they have coming.

Hope you have a good day.
