Spuds

Candy and I just got done digging the last of the potatoes. Had three 20ft rows left in the ground. They were Kennebucks, a white baker spud. There was something like 125-150#s when we got done. Got them into the garage and washed them all in 5 gallon buckets and laid them into cardboard trays for storage. Will take them to the dark, cool room in the basement next week for storage.

That's the end of the garden. Will put two utility trailer loads of bull on the garden this Sat and then one last rototill and all done for the year. We have one 17cf chest freezer full of veggies and these spuds. Hope we don't go hungry this winter!

Now it will be hunting season in two weeks for deer. That will last thru Jan 15. Will take time off in Feb, maybe.
