| We were in town last eve for dinner. I saw gas dropped to $1.65/9, YEA ! Candy drives 360 miles each way to Den and it takes almost 19 gals of gas. At the height, she was paying $75 one way for gas. Now is will be about $31 one way. Now thats what we like in our household. Groceries should be next. Last winter corn was $7 / bu. Its now $3.35 / bu. Fat cattle is down $30 /100 and that makes a market ready steer worth $350 less than 10 wks ago. The local beef guys are crying big time. I heard that gas is less in other states, but we think the drop we have here sure helps. Cliff |
