Sunday December 7th Grandma went out to lunch with her lady friends. After lunch they went to see the movie “Australia”. I watched the Packers lose another close game. Monday December 8th On Monday Grandma was a little tired after her big day on Sunday. She spent most of the day resting. We did some laundry and I made dinner. I did some more packing for Arizona. Tuesday December 9th More laundry today and I made a beef roast for our dinner. It was very good. I received the pictures of Stanley that my brother took in Seattle over Thanksgiving so I worked on Aaron’s Flat Stanley book. Wednesday December 10th We finished the laundry today. How can we have so many dirty cloths? I worked on the Flat Stanley book all day. It is coming along very well. I made a casserole for supper. Thursday December 11th Today was another busy day. We went to Iron Mountain so that Grandma could get her hair cut. I had to go to the doctor for a blood test. I went to the library to get a book to read and we went out for lunch. We also went grocery shopping. In the evening we went to Paris in Pembine for dinner and the Lions Club meeting. Friday December 12th Brrrrr it’s cold. 0° this morning. I don’t think that we will go outside to play! I have spent the morning doing e-mail correspondence with my brother and Matt. It seems that the Ryan & Aaron News and the Grandma & Grandpa news will now be on John’s Web Site. Friday night we went to our friends, Barb and Judy to play Sheepshead. (Grandma won $2.00 and I lost $1.00.) They live in a really neat log house way back in the woods. Saturday December 13th The only thing on the schedule for today is Grandma going to a Christmas choir performance at church. Now, Heeerees Grandma Hi everyone. Well it is count down time until we get to see you – 14 days yippee!! I am doing better everyday. So by the time you get to Arizona I should be able to do all the fun stuff with you. Did you get to play outside in the snow yet? I can’t wait until we get your news letter so we can find out all the things you have been doing. Sending lots of hugs and kisses. |
