| Today is a good day! The weather is miserable, cold, dreary, wet, just plain yucky! BUT ~~ the good part is I got a call this morning from a very good friend of ours, Mike. Mike and his wife Jamie have been over in Kuwait along with our other good friend Jeanette. They left in March with Arkansas National Guard. All are back home now, just in time for Christmas. This deployment was especially hard on Jeanette, because she had to leave her family, husband, two sons, 18 & 16 and 5 year old daughter here. Mike and Jamie have been married 11 years but do not have children as yet. Now that they are home, they plan to 'work on that'. That's my good news for the day. Susie |
