| Monday – Three days until Christmas and only 5 more days until we see you. For breakfast we went to Apple Holler with dad. Then at about 9:30 we went to the Milwaukee Museum. Dad took too many pictures. For lunch we met mom and went to Bar Louie. For the rest of the day we played on the computer. Tuesday – In the morning we relaxed. After lunch we went to Whitnall Park to go snowboarding. We had a good time. We did that for 2 hours then went home and played on the computer. When mom came home we made dinner. After that we did errands for two hours. Wednesday – We took mom to work, then came back home and played in the snow. For lunch Ryan had batman soup and grilled cheese. Dad and I had Campbell’s Chunky Beef Soup and I had a plain cheese sandwich. After lunch we picked up mom from work and then picked up our Grandma Eddy and drove to Madison. We went to the Tilted Kilt for dinner. Dad got 4 soda refills because he was thirsty (or kept wanting to see the waitress). Then we stopped at a couple stores because dad was looking for something. From there we drove downtown for dad to get a few pictures of the capital building and of Camp Randall Stadium. Finally we got to our mom’s cousin Patrick’s house. We opened our presents. I got two magazines and movies passes. Ryan got a Game Boy game and Nintendo DS game. The adults played a funny game they called Silly Santa Exchange. There were some silly gifts. Someone got onions! We slept in the car on the way home. Thursday – IT’S CHRISTMAS! We all rushed downstairs to open presents. We gave mom a ruby ring and diamond earrings. I got a bb gun, a Nintendo DS, a Game Boy game, a PS3 (Play Station) game, and a computer game. Then we got dressed and went to Uncle Mike’s house for our small family Christmas. I got a Bucks sweatshirt. From there we went to Grandpa Simmons’ house. I got a took kit, a Matt Kenseth t-shirt, camouflage pants, a Brewers t-shirt, a scarf, two movies, a book, a teddy bear, and a Badger hat. We ate lots of food. We drove home and went to bed. Friday – We got up and watched TV. Dad took mom to work and he came back home with donuts. Then I ate my donut. I watched Ryan play Pokemon on his DS. Then we worked on the R&A news for a bit. We left to pick up mom from work and we went to eat lunch at Solly’s and had butter burgers and shakes. Ryan had a bad headache. After that we went home and did our own thing. I played Madden ’08 on the PS3. For dinner we had burritos. We should have had chicken. Then we went to bed. Saturday – We went to the Country Springs Hotel. We went there to celebrate Christmas with grandma and grandpa, Scott, Tina, Bella, and Lauren. First we went to the water park with just Bella until grandma and grandpa came. Scott had to work so we picked Bella up early. For dinner we ordered pizza and garlic bread. We watched the Badger game while we waited for the pizza; they got KILLED by Florida State. The pizza finally came and we were happy. After dinner we opened presents. I got a Nerf gun that is kind of like a machine gun. I like it a lot. Dad likes it too. Sunday – We ate breakfast and cleaned up our room. We then helped grandma and grandpa pack their car so they could go to Arizona. We were sad to see them go but we get to see them in less then two months. We went back to the water park with Scott, Tina and the girls and played there for four hours. After we left we went to Fazoli’s for lunch. Finally we went home and I took a nap for two hours. Dad woke me up with the Nerf gun. Next, dad and I played Madden ’08 football on the PS3. I WON! After that we had ice cream and watched Osmosis Jones. |
