Sunday January 4th
It was a nice and quiet day. I watched the football game and made a Mexican casserole in the crock-pot. It was really good but I think that we ate too much. After we went to bed I heard what sounded like dogs outside. When I got up and turned on the outside lights, I saw 2 coyotes in the yard.

Monday January 5th.
Grandma and I both got haircuts. They are both bad and we won’t be going back to that place! We did laundry and read our books.

Tuesday January 6th.
We drove up to Las Vegas to see my mom. We had a nice visit and a good lunch and then drove back to Lake Havasu. On the way back a stone hit the windshield and cracked it.

Wednesday January 7th.
We drove down to the London Bridge and walked around to see the shops. We also stopped to get some tourist information on things to do when you come to visit. We went to the Aquatic Center to see what that was like. I think you will like it as they have a 250 foot slide.

Thursday January 8th.
Grandma made me drive her around to a bunch of garage sales. Why would I want to buy other peoples garbage? Don’t I have enough of my own? We then went to a shoe store and Grandma got some new shoes.

Friday January 9th.
Grocery shopping was the order of the day. It was so windy that you could hardly walk. At least we didn’t have any snow and the temperature was 66. For dinner we went to the Elks Club. The food was good and after dinner they had a singer for entertainment.

Saturday January 10th.
Grandma made me go to one more garbage sale. She was looking for 2 chairs for outside. We didn’t find any. We rented 2 DVD’s and went home.

And now, back by popular demand,
“Here’s Grandma”
Hi everyone! I think we are just going to rest today. Grandpa went out early to get us some doughnuts for breakfast. ( chocolate). This is a very windy city, white caps on the lake the other day. My back seems to be getting stronger every day. I am trying to walk every day, the best part is I can get grandpa to go with me!. Hope you boys are having fun in the snow. Can’t wait until I hear from you. Sending Big Hugs and Kisses. Love you all.

Sometimes it's really hard to decide what to do. When that happens I get a glass of wine and look for sales.
