Sunday January 11th
We had a quiet day. Did some laundry, Grandma went for a walk and I watched the Arizona Cardinals beat the Philadelphia Eagles.

Monday January 12th
We went to visit some people, John and Irene, that live out here that we met at the Elks club on Friday. We spent most of the day at their house.

Tuesday January 13th
On Tuesday we went for a drive to Parker dam. It’s a nice ride through the mountains. Parker Dam was built in 1935 and is the deepest dam in the world. It is 155 miles downstream from Hoover Dam.

Wednesday January 14th
Grandma and I went for a long walk along the canal by the London Bridge. I don’t remember what else we did because I was so tired after that.

Thursday January 15th
On Thursday our friends from home, Al and Karen, arrived and got settled into the house that they rented. They came over for cocktails and we went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant named Bad Miguel’s. The food was very good.

Friday January 16th
Grandma went for a walk in the morning and we went grocery shopping in the afternoon. Later we went over to John and Irene’s house with Al and Karen. We all went out to eat at the Elks Club. They had entertainment and Grandma was dancing! Her back is doing much, much better.

Saturday January 17th
Grandma and her friend, Karen, went walking. I stayed home and paid bills. After that I went and made an appointment for a brake job and picked rented 2 DVD’s. In the afternoon Grandma went to play “Spite & malice” and I read my book.

Now everybody’s favorite,
A few words from Grandma.
Today I am going to a “Chocolate Fantasy” with a friend of mine. For $10 we can eat all the chocolate dessert that we want from 2 o’clock to 4 o’clock. I will have to do a lot of walking after that.
Love and miss you all, sending
BIG XOXO.
Love, grandma
