Sunday January 18th
Grandma had her friends, Karen and Irene, over to decide what activities they wanted to participate in during the first week of February. It took them about 2 hours but they finally picked a bunch of things. They then went to the Aquatic Center to sign up and pay for the classes. After that they went to the “Chocolate Fantasy” event and ate a lot of chocolate.

Trying to decide what classes to take.

Monday January 19th
Grandma and I went for a walk around the block. The blocks are very big and the streets all curve so you don’t always know where you will end up. I spent quite a while trying to get the new cards for the Dish TV to work. I had to talk to people in India and Virginia. I also worked on Flat Stanley stuff.

Tuesday January 20th
Grandma and Karen went for a walk down by the canal at London Bridge. I don’t remember what I did so it couldn’t have been too much. I know that I finished reading a book call “Faces of Fear”.

Wednesday January 21st
Grandma and Karen went to line dancing classes at the Elks Club. Her back is getting better every day. I went to the library to get a new book and paid bills when I got home.

Thursday January 22nd
Karen and I went golfing at London Bridge Golf Club. I didn’t do very well. It was a very nice day, though, and we enjoyed it. Grandma went to a luncheon with several ladies and had a good time. We all went over to Al and Karen’s house for dinner. It was a very nice evening.

Friday January 23rd
Friday was grocery day. To find everything that she wanted, Grandma made me go to 3 different stores. In the afternoon Grandma went to the swimming pool and I went to pick-up some shoes that we had ordered.

Saturday January 24th
Saturday is Laundry day. I have dinner cooking in the crock pot. It’s something new so I hope that it tastes good. It was very foggy this morning. You couldn’t even see to the end of the driveway.

I know that she has a lot to say so
“Here’s Grandma”

Hi everyone. I have been quite busy and getting quite worn out. I really do like this weather. If I was up north I would be in the house all the time. Hope you are all doing good and Ryan, Aaron, and Bella are learning a lot of new things in school. Lauren, hope you have a fun birthday Monday. Love and miss you all!! Sending big hugs and kisses.
