Sunday January 25th

In the morning Grandma and I went to a swap meet down by the canal. It’s kind of like 7 mile fair where they sell a whole bunch of thing. It was pretty interesting and I think that we will go back next Sunday. In the afternoon I went golfing with our friends, Karen and John at Bridgewater Golf Course. I did much better than the first time out. Grandma stayed home and did washing and ironing.

Monday January 26th

I went golfing at Emerald Canyon Golf Course with Karen. We had to leave at 6:30 in the morning because the course is about 30 miles away and we had a 7:50 tee time. The course is really pretty as it goes right around the mountain. Grandma stayed home and was getting ready for Matt, Jeanne and the boy’s visit in February.

Tuesday January 27th

Boy was it cold and windy! Not Milwaukee cold but Arizona cold, 55°. Grandma went for a walk and I was afraid that she would blow away. For dinner we went with Al and Karen to a restaurant called “Shugrue’s where, on Tuesday the steaks are ½ priced.

Wednesday January 28th

Grandma went to her line dancing class and I stayed home to wait for a plumber to come and fix the faucet in the bathtub. I waited all day but he never showed up.

Thursday January 28th

Finally the plumber showed up. After he was finished we went for a ride to Bullhead City for lunch. It was another really windy day, 40 mile per hour gusts.

Friday January 30th

Friday was grocery shopping day. We also had to go to the library to check our e-mail because the people next door, who’s wi-fi signal I was picking up, moved. So now we will have to go to the library a lot.

Saturday January 31st

I don’t know what the plan is for today. I know that we will go to the library and go out to dinner at a new Mexican restaurant but I don’t know what else we will do. Tomorrow I will watch the Super Bowl and since I’m in Arizona, GO CARDINALS!!!

Now, Here’s Grandma!

Hi everyone. I hear everyone is getting together for Lauren’s birthday today, I feel bad I have to miss it. Hope everyone is doing good at school, Ryan you did an excellent job with your blog. As usual I miss and love you all! Sending Big Hugs & Kisses, Grandma
