Sunday February 1st

We went out for breakfast at IHOP and then went to the swap meet again. We bought a couple of things. I watched the Super Bowl and was rooting for Arizona. They played a pretty good game but didn’t win

Monday February 2nd

Grandma signed up for something called “Spring Frenzy” at the Aquatic Center. Monday was the first day. She had a class in Tai Chi. After that she had a class in water aerobics.

Tuesday February 3rd

On Tuesday she had 2 different classes in the swimming pool. She said that young Korean girls were teaching the class and that they had a lot of energy. Grandma was pretty tired when she got home. I went down to the Quality Inn and sat in the parking lot to use their wi-fi to get on the internet.

Wednesday February 4th

Grandma had her pool class and then participated in something called “The Mini Olympics. She won golf balls. I drove down to Emerald Canyon Golf Course to get a golf discount card. In the afternoon we went to the library to use the computers and get books. I was bending over to look at a book on a lower shelf and pulled a muscle in my back. Boy did that hurt!

Thursday February 5th

Grandma and Karen had more classes. I went back to the parking lot to go online. In the evening I went to the meeting of the Lake Havasu Shrine Club. I could only stay for the cocktails and dinner as Grandma had bought tickets to see a concert by a country group called the Doo Wah Riders. They sure put on a great show.

Friday February 6th

Grandma had her last pool class and then they did fitness testing. I think that Grandma passed. After she came home we had to go shopping.

Saturday February 7th

In the morning we went to “Winterfest”, an event on the main street downtown. They had a lot of booths with arts and crafts, clothes, food and all kinds of junk. We spent about 2 ½ hours walking around there. Just as we got back to the car it started to rain. It rained for the rest of the afternoon and all night. In the afternoon Grandma and Karen went to see a movie, “Taken”. I watched the NASCAR race that night.

Now, Here’s Grandma!

Hi everyone, well I totally wore myself out this week. I had so much fun at the “Spring Frenzy”. The exercise classes were just great! Anyone that would like to improve their health should look into Tai-Chi classes, very low impact and helps so many things. I hear it is almost as warm in Wisconsin as it is here, I bet you are all loving it. A very quiet week coming up, but I would like to take one or two classes. Love and miss you all!!! As always sending you Big hugs and kisses.

Question from Grandpa,

How can “Spring Frenzy” and “Winterfest” be held in the same week?
