2/2/09 – 2/8/09
By Ryan & Aaron Simmons

Mon: Aaron had to work on his mystery box project. For dinner Ryan had 2 tacos. Aaron had 2 tacos also. The tacos were delicious. Ryan studied my math study guide. And Ryan is studying the layers of the Earth. Aaron did a math journal page or in a workbook. He had to write his spelling words five times each in cursive.

Tues: First we did our homework at home. Aaron had 2 math journal pages. We went to wrestling practice. We had live wrestling When we got home we took a shower. Then watched a TV show called George Lopez.

Wed: We went to the Y to do our homework. On our ride home Aaron, Ryan, and Dad were talking about your day. For dinner we had a really big chef salad with broccoli in it. Aaron did his homework. We watched George Lopez again.

Thurs: At the Y we practiced baseball in the gym. We learned a cut fastball. When we got home Aaron did his homework. For dinner we had beef over noodles, which were good.

Fri: The big thing for today we went to trashes house to play games at their house. Outside of their house was a car accident. The driver said that he fell asleep and ran into a parked car. It took 1 hr until the police arrived. We got home at about 11:00 p.m.

Sat: Today we just lay around the house and played games on the computer, played with our toys, and watch TV. For lunch we had sloppy Joes, which were really sloppy. From 3:00-4:00 we practiced baseball on the driveway Dad played a computer game from 1:00- 3:00 and 4:00-10:00, that’s like 9 hours! We had brownies and ice cream for our so-called dinner.

Sun: We went to Zumba class at the Y and Ryan didn’t sweat once, but everyone else did. After that we practiced baseball in the gym. When we were tiered enough, we went swimming in the big pool. We came home from the Y and to have lunch. For lunch we had greasy burgers, 3 pickles, some regular potato chips, and baked beans that were a little spicy. We went to the Milwaukee Admirals game (hockey) we got some wrestlers autographs and a Rosco (mascot) stuffed animal. Admirals won 5-4. Then we went to BW3 for chicken wings. Dad got super spicy wings that mom accidentally ate and she was crying because it was so hot. Aaron ate some for a $1 bet, then he used the money to play video games.

From the Editor:

Ryan & Aaron have been practicing pitching a lot lately. Any free time they have their dad takes them to the gym and they practice pitching and fielding. Even it the 54 degree Saturday afternoon temperature the boys were in the street practicing. Ryan has found his nitch again – pitching. He can sure throw strikes. He needs to increase his velocity, but that will come with time and practice. Aaron has to work on arm strength. They both now have three pitches in their arsenal: fastball, cutter, and a change up. They can almost throw them all for strikes at any time. With practice they will be awesome. They are really looking like great ball players!
