| What a wonderful weekend I had. I went to the Bank picnic yesterday before noon which was close to the lake and listened to the band from the Jamboree until 12:30 p.m.. I had a hair appointment at 1 p.m. I went to Applebee's (in Mt. Pleasant) for a good dinner and then got to the Mt. Pleasant Opry Jamboree shortly after 6:30 which was too early but if a person doesn't go then, no good parking (show starts at 7:30). One of the men who sings there quite frequently, sang from 9 - 10 p.m. all by himself. It was 50's night and what a good time everyone had. |
