| I've known all month that this July has been wetter and cooler than normal here in Arkansas. We had rain, hard rain most of the day yesterday. Between showers it was drippy. Last night on the news our weatherman told us exactly how much 'wetter' we have been for July 2009. Little Rock broke the 118 year record of 9.23" of rain by getting 11.65". North Little Rock, where we are broke the 1988 record of 8.45" by getting 9.12" July is normally a hot and sticky month with humidity being the main pain in the 'you know where'!! We have had some of those days, but not many this year. I have enjoyed the rain, but I have to be honest and say, I'm ready for some just plain sunny days. |
