Today, Bobby, Autumn, Alicia, Addison and I went to the zoo. Oh man did we have fun!! Bobby and I took Autumn quite some time ago and she loved it. Addison is Alicia's daughter and will be 1 year old, Sept 30. She had a great time too! Going to the zoo, wore out two little girls, a Mama, a Daddy and a Gramma!!
Autumn spent a great deal of her visit to the zoo, on my shoulders. She loved it, she could see lots of stuff and no walking involved. I suspect I might have sore shoulders in the morning. It was worth it though!!
We all decided we needed to stop at the Cafe for a break and some air conditioning. Our bill was huge! Problem was, we did not get that much!! Hamburger, chicken tenders, fries, two waters, an ice tea and lemonade. 15.00 of our bill was for the glass that the lemonade came in. I just about choked on my ice tea when I saw that! Oh well, live and learn!! Next time we will not get the big cup, that certainly is not worth 15.00!! Go through the gift shop on the way out and you can get a shot glass for 4.95!!! It's all good, the girls had a good time and so did us 'big kids'. Pictures will follow when they are developed.
