After a few requests, here is the update and brag letter for Madison. We went to our 9 month appointment last week, and Madison is 28" long (65%) and weighs 18 lbs, 12 oz (45%). She had her final Hep B vaccine and the first of two shots for seasonal flu and H1N1.

Madison is loving daycare and her daycare provider, Jill. Jill seems to think the world of Madison, or at least that's what she tells us. She's adjusting well to being around other kids. It's probably good for her to be in an atmosphere where she's NOT the center of the universe like she is at our house!

Madison got her first tooth September 3 followed closely by her second tooth on the 13th. She now has two little teeth on the front bottom and hasn't gotten any more since then. I've attached a picture that shows them off pretty well.

Madison started talking with "mamamamama" in mid September and "bababababa" was close behind. When I went to Chicago for a week for work October 12-16, Madison learned "dadadada" very quickly. She also growls back if you growl to her and mimics raspberry sounds.

She started sitting up on her own the first week of August. Soon after came butt scootching. In early October came Army crawling. The little bugger could really move! A couple of weeks ago, she started pulling herself to a stand onto furniture and cruising (walking while holding onto furniture). Just this week, she has started to crawl up on her hands and knees. Watch out world, here she comes!

Madison is loving finger foods like puffs and yogurt drops and juice from a sippy cup right now. We broke all the rules and let her have a dum-dum pop that she got on Halloween while she was trick or treating. She was the cutest little Winnie the Pooh out there-we couldn't deny her!

Overall, MJ is still incredible, and it's awesome to watch her interact with us. It's even cuter to watch her interact with our cat, Bandit. Poor guy, he puts up with it and is great with her. She just crawls after him and when she gets to him, she tackles him and chews on him. When he's had enough, he just gets up and goes away. Of course she's left crying not because she got bit or scratched, but because she's sad her friend left her.

Craig and I are also doing well. I LOVE my new job with U.S. Cellular and Craig is starting to get into the overtime season with Cabela's. I think we both wish we had more time in a day, but that's how life goes. I came to the conclusion the other day that since we've had a baby, our house is 3 times messier with 1/2 of the time to clean it up, and 1/4 of the energy we had pre-family. Neither one of us would trade her for the world though.

If anybody wants more pictures (of Halloween for example), let me know. I have more, but out of respect for everybody's email quotas, I'm refraining from sending them all!

Love Craig, Tammy, Madison, and Bandit
