Benjamin was discharged from the hospital today about 1:30p. What a welcome outcome to this big deal. He has a follow up appt next Monday for wound care (incision) and another chest x-ray. He is on tylenol with codine for pain and lasics for water in his lungs. Candy said the water in the lungs is standard for open heart patients because of being on the heart lung machine during surgery. Ben's water issue is getting better each day by lookig at his chest x-ray.

Candy said she heard that they will follow him for 4 years to keep track of his growth and what ever. The Doctors all have said that Ben will have no residules for his heart or lungs. Thats the best news we could have got in the whole deal.

Now on to growing up big and strong.
