Thanksgiving

What a fun and hearty Thanksgiving day here in the Northwest. The house was filled with laughter as we enjoyed the traditional dinner and trimmings. It was great to have Artie and Heidi with us, as well as Allen. We had the Special Event Cam up and were happy to have Nana in Texas and Tricia, Andrew, Wes and his Mom in Las Vegas join us.

Artie and Heidi arrived last night, so were here for breakfast. We started out the day with homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast and pumpkin pie. Mmmm! Then we prepared a large vegetable plate that we tried to finish off before Allen got here. Cheryl made a turkey and a pork roast as our meats. We has stuffing, green bean salad, candied sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade cranberry sauce, orange jello, and fruit salad .

There was a break in the rain and we all gathered in front of the birch tree we planted five years ago. We all ate more than we should have and had a great time together. Artie and Heidi headed back over the mountains and Allen went back down the hill. Now it's quiet again as we relax and cherish the holiday time together.

Enjoy the pictures.
