It had quit snowing about dark time but it is snowing again now as you can see in these pictures. I turned the front light on and took these pictures just a few minutes ago so you can see how much snow we have tonight. I got wet just the few minutes I was out there taking these pictures.

Update 1 February 12, 2010
I went outside this morning with a 12 inch ruler. Depending on the part of the car, and the one next to me, I measured the snow was between 7 and 8 inches. Dallas had 12-1/2 inches since the first of the storm, which has departed and going east now. These measurements are all time records for this part of TX.

Update 2 February 12, 2010
I sent the last picture this morning. I have two more I didn't send but they are pictures that I took one out my front door and the other out my back door - looks just like a winter wonderland. Good thing I took the pictures early because the snow is melting fast. No matter what person I talk to that has lived here all their life says they've never seen this much snow here. The weathermen say this is a record and I can believe that. I haven't seen this much snow since I lived in Nebraska and I left there in '54. We got home from England in Nov. of '53 and both of us said we didn't want to spend another winter in Omaha and we didn't.
