Ben's Heart Follow Up Appt.

Ben had his open heart surgery last Oct and went in 3 months later for a follow up. All was OK, but they could not get to hold still to do an EchoCardiogram on him. Based on the rest of the results, they said we'll do it at 6 mos after. That was last month and he had a nose full and they said keep him home - see ya in a month.

Today was the day. They planned to and they did sedate him a little bit to keep him still as they ran the gizzmo around the outside of his chest to get their picture. Everything was well healed and all 3 holes were tight. The pressures on the inside of his heart and lungs were within the OK range - so he passed just fine. Woke him up and said get him out of here and take him home, he's fine. See you in one year from now for another Echo.

This is just the good news were were wishing and praying for. He's growing and getting along like any other 16 month old should now. YEA!
