Errands Of Today

Wow, am I pooped tonight. I guess I thought I had to do everything in one day and I sure tried. I got my WA drivers license this morning, came home for lunch, went to the Chamber, bank, Goodwill, Ikea (I needed more shelves for my bedroom) and I had to also return one shelf because it didn't have the hardware for it. I asked if someone could go get the shelves for me and they said "no, if you want them, you have to get them". In that store, a person could walk the length of a football field and then some and that's exactly how I felt.

When I left Ikea, I went to AT&T thinking I was going to exchange my new phone but I didn't. They weren't busy so I got a very nice gentlemen to show me how to use it almost identical to my Samsung (old phone) way - he said that's the advanced way. Oh well, that's the way I wanted it anyway. The only problem is that my Bluetooth ear piece won't fit in my new phone and, as of Thu. EVERYONE has to use one in the car or get a ticket. I left there and went to Michaels, then to Bed, Bath & Beyond to exchange my shower curtain liner, then to Office Depot and then the lightning place as I needed some lamp turn on things - which they didn't have. Brass lamps aren't in style anymore........

I then came home and I didn't think I was going to make it in the apartment I was soooo tired. It's so nice to be able to shop all within a 6-8 mile radius and any store that's probably ever been built.

After I bought my new bedroom furniture at Ikea (when I arrived in the Seattle area), I received a $25 coupon in the mail from Ikea on anything I bought over $250 and that I did. I asked them today if I could still get the money and they gave it to me as a credit to my credit card. Very profitable day and I don't really feel like cooking so guess it will be TV dinner tonight.

I found out I won't be joining the Chamber here because for one person (no senior rates) it is $295 per year - too rich for my blood. This is the same way it was when I went to the Chamber in Panama City Beach FL. Their money is generated from the membership and not fund raisers like it was in MV.
