My Indoctrination

I left here this morning a little after 8:30 to go to a meeting at 9 to hear more about Medicare supplemental insurance. When I left there, I went to Office Depot looking at stuff but didn't buy anything.

I came home and left here at 12:20 to go to another appointment 8 miles from home via the freeway. When I left that appt. about 1:30 or so, I realized I didn't know how to get to Fry's. I had Lowe's in my GPS and it's across from Fry's so I used those coordinates to get there on streets I don't recall ever being on before - on streets leading to the Renton airport and then past. I wanted to get a USB cable for my camera but being it's a mini connection, they don't carry them anymore. While I was there, I knew that Staples was right next door so I went there looking around.

My big experience was, I didn't have any idea how to get home, at all, so fortunately my GPS came in more than handy - my total life saver. It took me part of the way I had been with Cheryl & John before (after I turned left out of a right hand turn only lane - fortunately no traffic at that point) and then it took me on to the 405 freeway - a lot like the 405 in Los Angeles. The freeway is torn up and workers everyplace doing whatever they're doing and I was in 3 p.m. traffic. It's a good thing I don't mind freeways because it was super hard to merge as no one wanted to let me in so I almost had to "force" a huge dump truck to let me in, which I could tell he didn't like - he beeped his horn at me. That freeway took me to the numbered freeway I needed to take to get home and it was 6 miles from home at that point.

I made it back home with no stress so I'm glad I "finally" had that experience all by myself in the car. It was a beautiful day so that's why I did all the looking around while I was out. I'm going to stores I haven't been in since I left CA so that's why I do all the looking I do - so much fun seeing some things I didn't even know existed. I feel like a kid in a candy store.
