Frank and Carol drove to Bellingham WA for a vacation. On the way back down the Puget Sound coast, they stopped in to see me and my new apartment. We spent some time shopping, then went on to meet Cheryl and John at Azteca for dinner.
We all spent a fantastic Monday evening together spending the rest of the evening at Cheryl and John's house having a great time. John and Frank took a quick trip down to Fry's (the boy's toy store) for a computer part and to check out software. Cheryl, Carol and I just chatted away as the guest bedroom was prepared. Cheryl made a delicious desert with ice cream, a slice of date nut bread, cantaloupe, and frosting.
Tuesday, Frank and Carol came down to spend the day with me. We went out to breakfast, the Senior Center and a couple of other stops. We drove to Des Moines (a beach town on Puget Sound), which is just over the hill from me, and while in Des Moines, we took a drive on the road above the beach. We saw a sign that said "Saltwater State Park" so we went there. Neat park to spend some time in.
We came back to my apartment and rested for a couple of hours. Later, we went back out and drove to Redondo for Fish & Chips. They can't compete with Andrea's in Ventura Harbor, CA.
Frank and Carol left here close to 7 p.m. on the way to some other friend's house. They will be leaving there for the return to Palm Springs. It was wonderful to see them again.
