TV Show Taping

I went with the Senior Center group today (20 of us) on a day trip to be part of the audience at the local NBC TV station for a talk show called "New Day Northwest". I hadn't watched it before but it was sure a lot of fun as it was live so my friend Darlene watched it from home to see if she could see me. Even though I was in the third row from the bottom, she didn't pick me out because she didn't know what I was wearing. The TV station told the Senior Center people to let everyone know that they shouldn't wear any bright colors because they mess up the cameras some way. They said this was the biggest audience they had ever had in this studio as there were two senior centers represented, one senior citizens travel club and a huge group of seniors from some high school.

When we left there, we went to lunch at the Claim Jumpers - too expensive for my blood so I had soup and 1/2 sandwich.

Next Tuesday both Darlene and I are going with the Senior Center group to the Spaghetti Factory in Tacoma for lunch and then to a candy factory but lunch is included in what we paid up front.
