Thanksgiving Day

I was looking at your family web site [@ 10.23 am] and saw that your weather was a bit different than I am experiencing here in Palm Springs.

I just went outside, in my back yard, and and snapped a few pictures to show you why so many people rush down here this time of year. 76 degrees and crystal clear.

Carol and I miss the snow actually as we lived in Durango, Colo. for almost 20 years. We nearly always had snow on the ground for Thanksgiving and simply loved it. I would not want to have the bone chilling cold back again as it got tiresome even though we were real outdoors people with lots of snowmobiles and 4 wheel vehicles.

Carol and I are taking our youngest son, his wife and their two small girls into town (Upland) to our other sons house for a big family Thanksgiving. with our family and his wife Mary's family togeather. It is always crowded and enough food to feel 259 -- children and old folks like us are everywhere. when its time to eat. But, its so much FUN.
