Birthdays

I went downstairs to the birthday "sing-a-long" and it was really fun. The man, Roger, who leads the singing and plays a guitar, has big binders with MANY songs along with a list so we know what song to choose. Most of the songs people wanted played were, of course, from the 40's, 50's & 60's. After we sang a number of those songs, he read off all the birthdays for Nov. & Dec. and there must have been close to 15, if not more. Then we started singing Christmas Carols and ended by singing "Oh Holy Night". The music started at 2 p.m. and we ended at 3:30 p.m. - a fun afternoon.

Tomorrow we're going to have our Christmas dinner at 4 p.m. for the residents that sign up with what they're going to bring. From the looks of the list, we'll have enough to feed an army. SHAG pays for the ham and the turkey and we all bring the rest.
