Christmas Dinner

We had one of the biggest turnouts for dinner downstairs we've had since I've been here. No food is served in these buildings except for when we have potlucks and/or holiday meals. I went downstairs at 3:30 and came back up at 6:15 p.m.

After some of the people left, one of the gals, Amy, told the ones that were left - there were between 15 & 20 of us - to stay and we would sing Christmas carols - without any music. What a hilarious time we had because everyone seemed to be making their own music. We all laughed until we were silly but sure helped digest our meal. We did end on a serious note by singing Silent Night in unison. Great afternoon with so much laughing and food.

As you might be able to tell, I love living here because there are so many neat people and each time I go for a get together, I meet more people than I already knew. Some lady wanted someone to take pictures with her camera (it was new to her with only 1 megapixel) and she couldn't get any takers so I volunteered. I took lots of pictures with her camera and wished I would have brought mine with me.
