I was lucky enough to go to Joplin and visit my sister recently. I was there for 10 wonderful days. These are pictures of my sisters Grands. James is the curly blonde, he is Matt and Jaime's sweetie. Ava is Frank and Dianna's sweetie, and last but not least is Samuel, Ava's baby brother, being held by his Daddy, Frank. Absolutely adorable kids!!
Then there are the bags Judie made for Autumn and I. She has a wonderful embroidery machine. It's so fascinating to watch it. Pick your design, put the fabric and stabilizer in the hoop, attach, push go!! After the machine makes part of the design, it stops, snips the thread, and goes to the next block to do, tells you what color to use, and you rethread the machine. No big deal. Judie then got out some fabric and made us bags. She used uniform fabric for both, the kind police use, the heavy duty stuff. Our bags will never wear out!! Judie also taught me how to make pillow cases!!! So easy, so fun and so pretty!!!
I'm glad I got to go, because since I came home on the 20th, gas prices have soared. Fun trips are on hold again.
