Today's Ride

Darlene and I went out this morning to Fred Meyer as I wanted to get some frozen dinners which are usually cheaper there than at Walmart. We brought them all home to get in the freezer and then picked up some old bread I was keeping in the frig for the gulls. We drove down to the pier and those little stinkers were grabbing bread right out of my hand as I was holding on to it. If I tried to throw it, they would catch it and a couple of them let me actually feed them - they were all sitting on the railing. I found that I had to protect my fingers as best I could because once a bird got my finger and I can tell you, that HURT. They wanted to sit on my head but I kept chasing them off. I would have loved to have someone take a picture of me feeding them because I get such a kick out of those gulls.

As we were coming home, I went into the Burger King parking lot and took this picture of all these trees in bloom beside Taco Time. The flowering trees are so gorgeous now and we saw so many today. Down along the Green River on Meeker especially but they were all pink.
