Ben went in last Monday for a scheduled Cardiology appt from his open heart surgery when he was 9 months old, he is 28 months now. They did an Echocardiogram and he passed with flying colors. He had 3 holes in heart that they patched. Now no holes and all the blood is going the right way. The the pressures in his heart were also just right. The Cardiologist said come back in 2 years for another visit. All is fine now and should be for ever.
Made Monday a fine day. Ben is growing big and strong. If you didn't know he had surgery - you would never guess. He is now 65% on the hieght and wieght charts.
To make the day even better - Monday was the 40th aniversery of Candy being a RN. What a great career, 40 years as an ICU nurse. I had flowers waiting for her at her ICU floor when she got there that evening.
