Building - South Side

The men started taking down some trees and putting up the scaffolding today so I took my camera out a little after 3 (after exercises) to take these two pictures. Two of the guys here who have been talking to the workmen, said that they think I will have mold behind the stucco because my living room window has been repaired so many times. I asked one of the men why the South side and they said the South side gets the most rain, sun & wind but I could have told them that. So far, with the buildings they've already done, they have found a lot of mold on the south sides of the buildings.

The last two trees (in picture 2) that have to come down will probably come down tomorrow so they can get the rest of the scaffolding up. We will all miss the purple tree because it's always so pretty. I don't know what they'll do when they get to this metal roof part that is over the rec room because there isn't any place to put scaffolding. I was told today that the part of the rec room (under the metal roof) was added many years ago because they realized that the small area (same as my apartment) wasn't enough room for all the people when all the apartments got rented (it's an extension of the rec room). Now they say they want to extend the rec room again but I don't know where. We have about 35 people in our exercise class (less and more at different times) and with so many people on chairs, we don't have enough room for our arms and legs to extend.

I have to make sure I don't have anything on the outside wall because when they start pounding, it makes the walls shake (per the people on the Meeker side (South). I have one more picture to take down. I'm concerned about my bedroom cabinet against the outside wall so I might have to empty that. I think I'll ask one of the guys (that live in this building)to come move out my curio cabinet some because it's right against the outside wall.
