Here are some pictures of Connor while on their 3-week practice tour
(COMPTUEX) off the coast of San Diego getting ready for the big
send-off in September. In the group photo, Connor is in the
front/middle looking like a very proud Navy Gunners Mate!
The next couple of shots are pictures of the "Killer Tomato" floating
live fire target they release into the water from the ship. The last
group of shots is Connor actually shooting at the target....I assume
the best part of his 3-week excursion!! It's supposed to be a 'guy
thing', but I have to say it looks like a lot of fun!
Connor came back to shore on Tuesday, and I'm hoping he'll be home a
day or two over the weekend. However, even if he IS home, I won't see
him much - heck, I was 20 years old one-upon-a-time!! Who wants to be
home!!? :D
