Summer Is Over

Summer is over, today is Autumn's first day of 1st Grade. Wow, how is that possible? It has been a horrible hot summer and thankfully Mother Nature finally decided to be nicer to us and give us double digits that begin with 8 instead of triple digits!! What a nice change. A/C is off, fans are on, but fresh air is flowing again. How nice. Great sleepin too!

Sending along some pictures I've taken over the summer. A couple from the Zoo, some of my other grands that I see once or twice a year, some of Memphis. Bill's apartment is right next to Germantown, a big Jewish community is there too. The Kroger about 2 blocks from him carries a bunch of Kosher stuff. They have some of the most delicious sour dills I have ever had, a bit pricey, but oh man, so so good!! They make the Reuben Sandwich with chips!! The very last picture is a cell phone tower. Little girl with a cast on is Angelique, Michael T's step daughter age 9, little girl on the tire swing is Kylie, Michael T's youngest, age 4. A bed full of sleeping girls. Autumn at the zoo. Shalom Ya'all bus at the Jewish synagogue. Oh and I've enclosed a picture of a table runner I made for a sewing swap.
