Muckleshoot Casino

Four of us gals went on Access bus tonight to the Muckleshoot Casino, in Auburn, to see "Society of Seven", a Las Vegas show that was originally started in Hawaii almost 30 years ago. The main people that started this show were Hawaiian but they've since added others to their group. They mostly stay in Vegas at the Riviera and I have to say, this was the best music show I think I've ever seen.

Jasmine Trias - the 3rd runnerup in the 2004 American Idol is with them now and a singer by the name of Ryan Gallagher is also with them but I don't know if he's going to be a regular on their show. He's also a classical singer and is a back up for many top singers - 24 years old and as handsome as handsome can get. This show was free and we all wondered what Muckleshoot paid them for this week as they started last night through Fri. night and will do two shows both Sat. & Sun. If you ever get a chance to see them in Vegas, you won't be disappointed provided you take ear plugs with you. Jasmine has went on way past American Idol with more lessons, etc. and did a tribute to Whitney Houston of her main songs and the audience absolutely went berserk and wouldn't quit clapping as well as standing for an ovation.

The show lasted 1-1/2 hrs. of pure music and they have been coming to the Muckleshoot Casino for some years now, so we heard. They also play at the Outrigger Hotel in Hawaii when they go back to Hawaii. Amy, one of the gals that went with us, is Hawaiian and she knows this group well. She said when she used to watch them in Hawaii they played mostly Hawaiian music etc. but now they sing and play mostly what I would call American music. They closed with all patriotic songs and the leader asked anyone who had ever been in the service to stand up and no matter where I looked, people (including us) were using tissues at their eyes. It would be impossible to say what we saw and heard tonight but it was totally outstanding and awesome - well worth the $1.25 each way on Access.
