Michael and Arizona

This was Michael first trip to Arizona to see his grandparents. The plane ride down to Arizona was great; Michael slept most of the way. Even a few passengers said he was a well behaved little boy. We got to the house by early Saturday evening, just in time for dinner. Sunday morning Michael and daddy went to church with the family and the Priest even blessed Michael.

Most of the week Artie and Michael worked on the farm and visited with family and friends. Michael was passed around from person to person a lot. Poor kid ;) Michael’s sister Jordyn came down on Wednesday afternoon and on Thursday we went and visited Tombstone. She left on Friday to celebrate her birthday all weekend long. Friday there was a group from the local college that came to the farm and did some volunteer work for the day. They were excited to see the farm and see what it took to run a farm. Michael got to see the cows and chickens and of course our new puppy named Sleepy Joe. He is an Australian Shepard and is blind in one eye, we are also guessing he may be deaf to but it’s hard to tell. He’s staying there at the farm while we are away.

One of the last things we did was taking a generation photo of the Cardona’s. Artie’s grandmother is 89 years young and she was very happy that she is still alive to see her great grandson.

It was a great visit overall, all the friends and family enjoyed having Michael over and enjoyed spending time with one another.
