My friend Darlene and I got on the Snoqualmie Casino bus this morning at 8:30 and had a good time today. We pay the driver $10 to ride the bus and when we get to the casino, we go to the cashier and we get that $10 back plus we get a $10 food voucher. We go to the buffet where it costs $10.95 for seniors so all we had to pay was $.95 and the buffet at this casino is superb...... The weather was beautiful with nothing but very light clouds going up but a storm was starting to move in on our way home - rain is due tonight.
We had about 1/2 hour before the buffet opened so I sat down at the first machine I got to, in the non-smoking area, put in a $5 bill and ended up getting $25.50 so I actually won $20.50 but I cashed out as soon as I saw what I had won. Darlene and I laughed until we were both crying tears just from how hard we were laughing. I just hit a machine that paid off at 10:30 in the morning. This particular bank of 5 slots are new so after we got through with our lunch we went back and there was a line of people waiting to play on them. Darlene finally was able to get on and she put in $5 and got $17.50 back so we both came out without going into the hole and had a "blast of fun" with lots of laughing.
Darlene and I were passing time so we went up to the top of the parking structure looking out at all the mountains (the casino is in the mountains) but it was a little hazy so not good picture taking weather. We were standing in the sun at the edge of the lot but we moved back into the shade because it was too hot in the sun.
We got back to our place here at exactly 4:30 p.m. I have to admit, I had a hard time getting up and down the steps but I'm not used to steps. I need to practice this coming month because we both intend to go back up there on the 4th Mon. of July - July 28th.
Even with killing time until the bus left up there, we still had a fantastic time but Darlene and I think alike when it comes to being positive.
