The quilt group I belong to had a field trip to Charlottes in Keo, AR yesterday for PIE and lunch. You order your pie first cause when it's gone it's gone and man oh man, it sure is good. I had a super chef's salad and Caramel Pie. YUM.

From there we drove to Stuttgart to a quilt shop called the French Seam. Wonderful store, gobs and gobs of fabric, kits, notions, patterns, Bernina sewing machines! I got a couple yards of fabric, a couple jelly rolls, some pattern grid to make a couple bags, a green tape measure, just all sorts of stuff. Had so much fun. And since there was of us 'invading' at the same time, we got a discount!!!

I will be going back there for sure. And not just because of the discount, but because there is simply so much to see and the prices on fabric are wonderful! I know when I go back that I will see new things and of course I will probably buy some more fabric. I have a quilt in mind to make, actually a couple, found fabric to make them, but had not taken patterns with me to get the right amount of fabric.

Updates to follow.
