Silly Girls6/30/14
By Susie Devries
Here are a couple pics of my granddaughters, Chloe age 9 and Kylie age 6. Their daddy was here and Mama dropped them off with us for an impromptu visit. I was lucky to get a few pictures. One of course is the girls being silly in front of my tree lilies and then one with daddy.

Snoqualmie Casino6/23/14
By Barbara Lawrence
My friend Darlene and I got on the Snoqualmie Casino bus this morning at 8:30 and had a good time today. We pay the driver $10 to ride the bus and when we get to the casino, we go to the cashier and we get that $10 back plus we get a $10 food voucher. We go to the buffet where it costs $10.95 for seniors so all we had to pay was $.95 and the buffet at this casino is superb......

Goodbye Party6/22/14
By Blanche Gkaeser
What a wonderful time we had. Friends from my church, Good Samaritan Lutheran, gathered together after the service to wish me well on my move to Seattle. It was very touching to hear them all saying goodbye. I will remember them always. Here are some pictures from that day.

Michael's Day At The Lake6/21/14
By Heidi Cardona
We went to Clarks Hill Lake in South Carolina. It was his first time going into the water outside of being in a bath. He had a great time! He kept trying to push off but soon realized he can't swim! We are going to see if the post gives swimming lessons for his age. All in all we had a great day! :)

Do-Si-Do6/15/14
By Susie Devries
Here is a picture of my current quilt. It is called "Do-Si-Do". I had great fun making it and will be very happy to get it back from the quilter so I can put the binding on. My quilty friends say I should enter it in the State Fair. If I get it done in time, I just might, who knows.

Light Rail Ride 6/08/14
By Barbara Lawrence
I had the "funnest" day today that I've had in a long time. Cheryl and John picked me up at 10:30 and we drove to the Tukwila Light Rail station (a train a little like the train I took to work from Oxnard to Glendale) and picked up the train that took us right to the end of the line in downtown Seattle.
