Tulip Field Trip 03/29/15
By Barbara Lawrence and Cheryl & John Schmit
While it was not raining today, we took the opportunity to check out this years tulip crop in Mount Vernon. Most of the farmers have now put their tulip fields away from the roads so they can charge people for parking and some farmers even charge admission. This year the fields were muddy from recent rainfall. Many people walked out into the fields so they could get closer to the flowers. Cheryl used her telephoto lens and took a lot of pictures. It was an absolutely gorgeous day with all the different colors as well as a lot of fields of daffodils. We also saw a field of the Canadian Snow Geese. A fun day in the farmland of the Skagit Valley.

St. Patty's Day Parade in Seattle 03/25/15
By Cheryl and John Schmit
Cheryl was downtown in Seattle for her annual video of the Saint Patrick's Day Parade there. She got some very good shots of the parade and had a new place to view from. I finished editing and now the video is up for you to enjoy.
