| Merry Christmas to all, I went over to Daryl & Jan's for breakfast this morning and then we all opened our presents with Jan's daughter, Deanna, and her husband, Zach. Last night when I was at Betty's house (Jan's Mom), Jan's sister (Cindy) drew my name in the family gift exchange and told me I wouldn't get my gift until this morning. When I arrived home from Daryl & Jan's house awhile ago, this is what I had in my backyard for my present from Cindy. I was so astounded I got tears in my eyes. The Lord really blessed both Daryl and I when he became one with Jan - not many families like hers. I immediately called Cindy to express my profound thanks because I've wanted a regular bird bath since I moved here and this one is GORGEOUS and all concrete. Now the coons can't make it dirty every night because I won't put the open dish out on the ground. Cheryl gave me a thermal bird water dish that I will put out when it's freezing but the coons turn that one over at night so I have to remember to take it in to the shed before it gets dark. |
