We Are Home

May 13, 2007

Just one last e-mail related to our trip to Bowser, B.C. -- We are home safe and sound. We left Anderson, Ca this morning at 6 A.M. looking at a 660 mile run to home. We simply kept coming South with all due haste and made it home at 5:05 P.M. today. No traffic, no close calls, no fighting, and no tomato throwing at the driver !!!!

In all it was a very nice trip. We went 3,097 miles mainly in 4 days of driving. Two going up and two coming back. With three drivers it was not too bad.

I have attached a final picture that says it all whenever I am out of the country and come back. This was taken at the Blaine Wa. crossing point into the U.S. Normally we cross at the Peace Arch crossing but Sat. morning there was lots of "Hold" time so we went to the truck crossing a few miles away. They do not like cars to cross there but there is no law against it and its tons faster if there is a slow down at the main crossing.
